What does being awarded All-State mean to you? It means that the work that I have put in my whole life is paying off. That I am finally pursuing my dream.

Which strengths do you believe you have that make you a great athlete? I am a mentally strong player.

Is there a coach or athlete that you look up to as a role model and why?

The two coaches I look up to the most is coach Crossley and my old hitting coach Lea Bradley. Lea was a former college player that had an aggressive playing style. I try to replicate her playing style and still use the advice she had given me years ago. Coach Crossley has played one of the biggest roles in developing me into becoming the player I am today.

What do you believe is the greatest challenge most athletes are facing today? One of the biggest challenges being faced by most athletes today is the mental part of the sport.

Tell me about your most successful season in sports. The most successful season I have had in sports is my senior season.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve gained from your coaches? Keep your head high no matter what because in order to be a good leader you must push through adversity.- coach Crossley

What is your favorite quote that inspires you in life that also carries over to your sport?  “Don’t worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.”  Jack Canfield

What is your advice for underclassmen that look up to you in this sport? The effort you put into the sport is the effort you get out of it. It gets easier as it goes on and the people you spend those four years with begin to become your family.
